Grand Junction, Colorado: Heidi designed and created the artwork for this sign, located in an industrial park on the Colorado River. The stone pillars and materials were selected to match the style of an adjacent building. The image of the Heron at river's edge is a common sight in the area.

Heidi is a graphic designer with over 20 years experience working in corporate design departments and freelancing for a diverse range of industries. These include entertainment, publishing, pharmaceutical, industrial, educational, insurance and real estate. She is a print specialist who has a thorough understanding of the printing process and the production requirements.
After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design, Heidi worked as a designer for Walt Disney World in Orlando. Inspired by the creative environment she found there, she began doodling her own characters, eventually turning her hobby into a second career as an illustrator. Her work has since appeared in a variety of editorial and corporate pieces, several children's magazines, and children's books.
Heidi also spent several years as a designer for Hoffmann-LaRoche in Basel, Switzerland. Taking advantage of her time there, she traveled all over Europe learning about history first-hand and meeting some amazing people along the way.
She has also held design positions at Weekly Reader, Otis Elevator, and Pendant Publishing.
She currently freelances and lives in Vernon, Connecticut with her St. Bernard, Bogart.
