Heidi is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design where she received a degree in graphic design. Her first job was at Disney World where she worked mainly on collateral material for the hotels, restaurants and theme park.

After leaving Disney, she moved to Switzerland where she landed a job with the international pharmaceutical company, F. Hoffmann-LaRoche, at their world headquarters in Basle. Her work included designing promotional material and adapting all her designs to numerous languages. Every weekend was spent traveling and learning about different cultures and their art.

In her free time she began developing her doodles into the illustrations you see today. Her work has since appeared in a variety of editorial and corporate pieces, and most recently in several children’s educational magazines.

After returning to the US, Heidi worked at Weekly Reader and later Otis Elevator. Each of these companies produced specific educational material for target audiences. She enjoys working on educational projects and using her illustration skills when appropriate, such as for branding purposes.

Heidi presently works at Pendant Publishing in Grand Junction, Colorado. She continues to freelance in both graphic design and illustration.
